This page explains how you can request deletion of personal data associated with Maison Meriam (website, orders, and customer support/WhatsApp where we retain it).
What you can ask to delete
Depending on what we hold, a deletion request may cover:
- Contact details and customer records linked to your orders or conversations with us
- Message content or notes in our customer records where reasonably possible
- Marketing data or preferences that we store
How to submit a request
Send a message to hello@maisonmeriam.ma or Maison Meriam’s official WhatsApp channel, clearly stating that you request deletion of your personal data.
Please include:
- Full name
- Phone number used with Maison Meriam
- Order number, if applicable
- A clear request to delete personal data
Identity verification
We may ask for additional information to verify that the request comes from the data subject before deleting data, to protect your privacy and prevent fraudulent requests.
What we delete or anonymize
After verification, we delete or anonymize personal data that we no longer need to retain for operating the service or meeting legal obligations, to the extent reasonably possible technically and operationally.
What we may retain
We may retain some records when required for legal, accounting, fraud-prevention, dispute, or transaction-record obligations, and only for as long as needed for those purposes.
Processing timeframe
We aim to process deletion requests within 30 days where reasonably possible.
Third-party data
Deleting Maison Meriam records does not automatically delete data independently retained by Meta, WhatsApp, delivery companies, payment providers, or other third parties. You may need to submit a separate request to those parties under their policies.
If you connected through Facebook/Meta
If you interacted with Maison Meriam through Meta products (such as WhatsApp or Facebook/Instagram ads), you may also review privacy settings in your Meta/WhatsApp account and follow Meta’s instructions for data requests where available.
